..would he have had sympathy like Freddie seems to? Marcus was stronger than that and didn't break down but that seems to be held against him.

Everyone is different and it isn't in his character to break down like that so I think your question is irrelevant acutally
Marcus is stronger emotionally than Freddie - surely you can see that? Freddie is a sensitive bloke and thought Bea was a friend - and what a friend she turned out to be. Her name suits her Beatch.
Marcus didn't sob...he sulked BIG TIME and stopped talking to Noirin and Siavash.
Oh yeah Marcus is stronger alright.

Of course he would have got sympathy in fact the others used to go and lie with him and listen to him, nobody likes to see anybody broken.

But wasn't Noirin a bitch too?

He just kept to himself, but Noirin and Siavash kept pestering him as they knew that it was making them look bad.
Marcus was devestated when noirin kissed siavash he dealt with it and got slated for stitting under a duvet for three days maybe tears would have earned him alot more smypathy, iknow what you mean
Siavash did not what to talk about it and went round moping when it was done to him i felt no smypathy for him though because it was his g/f i felt sorry for.
They hurt as much as freddie and noirin was correct if you think i am bad bea is a minipulative sly bitch and she was right.

I think Freddie's emmotional state was more to do with Bea systamatically tearing strips off him in front of a whole room of people. Making it appear that the in the first five weeks Lisa, Kris, Sophie, Charlie and the charming Karly were justified in their treatment of him. Things can only get worse once Marcus goes, because Lisa and Bea will virtually have total control of the house.

I know. He had to take himself off and find some space somewhere and that happened to be in the pool for hours at one time and he just got the pee taken out of him. No sympathy. Pee and no sympathy - instead of tea and sympathy...

Noirin called Marcus a freak and much else.

Nope not as bad as that evil cow. The situations were completely different if you ask me. Bea has completely gone for the jugular with Freddie. Noirin never really did that with Marcus
It's an interesting question.
Also..... would we be hating Bea as much if Freddie had taken it calmly?

Noirin was knocking him back constantly. He wouldn't take the hint so it was highly unlikely that he ever felt 'dropped'
That's why he has such a problem with Siavash.
He sees it as Siavash 'stole' Noirin from him and not that he had been rejected.

I mean from the audience.

He was not stronger, he sulked like a baby for 3 days, and he had nothing to sulk over, he had bugger all chance with Noirin
Marcus may not have cried but he has never forgiven Sivash and he bitched about her to everyone while still coming on to her.
Shame it looks like he'll go on Friday because he would have to game play against Siavash shortly. It would be interesting to see how that one worked out.

Surely an overnight few hours crying is infinitley perferable to a four day strop? At least freddie os open with his emotions ..............not a sad, scary, brooding monster.
Dont really see how the two are comparable TBH. Marcus felt let down .........people are playing with Freddie's head - not just Bitchy Bea but Marcus too.

being stressed to the point where it brings on an anxiety attack is hard enough, but to suffer that whilst on camera must only add to the stress that he was already trying so hard to deal with.

Well he did kinda go ott imo..
Marcus has had his moments granted..but on the whole he has spoilt this year for me with his controlling ways.

Siavash never 'had' Noirin, it was just a quick grope for a few nights, he gave in to his lust and they went behind Marcus's back. And anyway Bea hasn't suddenly started getting under duvets with anyone else.
Marcus was Noirin's friend they had alot of chats, just like Freddie and Bea had alot of chats.

What Marcus said to him about Siavash must have had an impact also.

What a load of tosh. What the hell did he have to go in such a strop about?????? He fancied Noirin ....she made it clear there wasn't a chance.
Freddie has been cut to the quick by a friend that has let him down BIG TIME. Marcus is simply a dick head ....living out a romance that was never, ever there.

Marcus is very supportive of Freddie actually.
And as I'll keep saying Marcus was just spending time by himself before. It was the Noirin and Siavash who kept pestering him as they were worried about their image on the outside, similar to how Bea felt she had to go back to the upset Freddie. Marcus had to put up with this interfering from Siavash and Noirin for several days, while at night Siavash kept jumping into bed with her.

depraved Marcus is'nt as devious as the shakespearian wannabee actor, what a show that was he certainly knows how to pull the sympathy strings and its so laughable and false.

Marcus was a friend to Noirin, Freddie was a friend to Bea. Noirin intentionally tried to upset Marcus by flirting with Tom and then Siavash knowing it would upset him. She got close to Marcus before that, just like Bea got close to Freddie. Both were close friendships.
Will be interesting to see Marcus v. the Psychologist if he goes on Friday. I'm sure we'll here the same shpiel he gave Tom about how he has a BB Brain.
I think he just relates to people as a cluster of avatars.

But I still dont see why Marcus out the knife in Siavah on tonights HL's. That was below the belt IMO .............Siavash was simply telling Freddie (in a nice way) that Bea was betraying him ........was he wrong to do that? And what the eff did that convo have to do with Marcuss?
Hw couldn't get his arse off the floor quick enough to go shit stirring .........pretending to be asleep all the while . Him and Bea should get together ...............what an evil, conniving pair.

Noirin wanted a strong male friend though, as was obvious with her relationship with Isaac. She wanted a strong friend in Marcus, someone who she could go to for advice, so that's what he gave her.
I prefer stronger HMs over weak ones anyway. I much prefer a leader over a follower, at least they are likely to have their own opinions than just be brainwashed by others.

Indeed I like a strong mind too..but not a controlling one which is how I see Marcus.

Blah. Marcus has been very sympathetic and supportive of different HMs on this show (for example Sophie, Rodrigo and Freddie).
Siavash is always trying to cosy up to people in the house. He's always been the rabbit jumping around among people trying to make out he likes everyone. At the same time he talks about taking himself out of the game, but it's just bullshit and Marcus knows it. Marcus likes to say things to people's faces, and Siavash rarely does (except when exposed like in rabbitgate).

Then he sulked...BIG TIME
As for Noirin and Siavash going behind Marcus' back ??? Marcus had no claim on her other than as a fellow HM. They weren't friends, they had only known each other a few weeks.

Marcus is not strong! he sulked and hugged his duvet for days once he realised he had no chance with Noirin.

Of course they were friends!, they were allies for several weeks in the house. They had long conversations together at night, got under the duvet together. If you consider Bea and Freddie to have been friends how can you not think that Noirin and Marcus (together ever longer) weren't friends!?
Marcus just kept to himself he didn't sob over it that I saw. And he definitely had a problem with what Noirin did. Freddie obviously doesn't have a third party involved with this breaking of friendship with Bea, if he did maybe he would have a problem with that person too (it really depends on the situation). Siavash AND Noirin went behind Marcus's back. Siavash for a quick bit of lust, and Noirin because she changed her gameplan (a bit like Bea).

Marcus tried his heart out to have control over Noirin. He even saw her resistance to him as a sign of a 'connection'. For someone who claims he can suss someone out in an instant, he sure misread an awful lot of signs.
