imo she was actually a lot kinder than many would have been.
I don't neccesarily disagree with that, I just think it's double standards to expect him to take the high road and not expect the same from her (I'm not saying you feel that way, but I have seen some comments on here that seem to put that opinion forward). I don't mind which way people see it tbh, but it should be the same for both.

Personally I feel they both should have taken the high road, but both failed miserably

I feel that too ......the thing is - she's out of the house and has (OR SHOULD HAVE) more perspective ..........................I'm guessing that when you're in the house cut off from the world perspective goes out of the window and that is the only defence I'll give on John James part. Perhaps if she'd have gone in with a smile and a joke it might have been different. The thing is (usually) once they all leave the BB house they're all the best of friends.

agreed ducky

I also think something else. I think when he picked her he wanted her to be all over him, if she had have been he would have been all over her. Arguing with josie that day etc. He is one of them men that think time heals everything and they are a 'good bloke' and when he saw she wasnt he was mad.

this has nothing to do with anything but i just thought it and wondered if anyone else got that vibe. He gladly picked her when he saw her.

I dunno Duckster. But I saw the LF feed of the entire massage fiasco (without the sound dips for the obvious revolting comments from JJ1. There were none for Rachael throughout that LF I note now.) The tone he set from going into the room and saw her was antagonistic and he went straight for her. It would have taken the patience of a saint not to counter his comments in the way she did. He cranked up the pressure on her and she kept her cool remarkably I thought.

I feel he shouldn't have chosen her in the first place tbh. If that were me I wouldn't have if I genuinely didn't want the aggro.
They thought they had to do the opposite to what was expected of them though Karma.

He'd have been better off sticking to his earlier line of not giving a damn if he failed the task

sorry i dont get your point without knowing what side of this argument you sit on. What do you mean? which was why what?
I'm not on any 'side' gypsie, (well aside from the fact that I don't think physical violence is ever a way to resolve an issue or that women need 'rescuing' by men, but I haven't commented on that) I'm referring to how BB arranged a call between JJ and Nathan this morning and the whole thing was apparently sorted between them in next to no time! BB, imo set the whole thing up with Rachael/JJ and Nathan/Corin to cause sparks, they could predict what would happen, but not that it would get q as out of hand as it did. Everyone behaved badly, C4/BB then realised, when threats of physical violence were being implied, that they would need to prevent JJ leaving and set up a conversation with him and Nathan for their own sakes.

I watched the whole thing too Xochi......a bit like this >>>

They chopped out lots of it, lots of what both of them said. I honestly detected a snidey tone from both as soon as they went in, and saw both of them build up the pressure.

We're back to different interpretations of the same events again aren't we? That's what most of the discussions on here come down to eventually.

He'd hardly laid down before he was telling her he thought he'd give her another chance for a bit more airtime!

He seemed sincere when he said it in the diary room! When he said "Rachel only had a week so I'll give her the chance". I think he honestly thought it would all work out well at first.

I don't agree he had the first dig though But I'm sure you won't agree with me

I think that's exactly what he may have thought now you mention it! But his problem is, when stuff doesn't, he goes off the rails big time. He needs to control everything and when he can't he doesn't learn how to adapt his behaviour.

Does that count as partly agree?

it always amazed me...   blokes and how quickly they make up.   I remember a couple of times in pubs (local pubs... the sort where everyone knows everyone)...  and it kicking off between two blokes...  tables go flying.. blood splattering..    other blokes come & break it up,  then the two fighty blokes go outside, & come back in 3 mins later hugging each other & buying each other drinks.

With women if it gets to the point of fisty cuffs (hey... doesn't even have to get that far)...   they would never ever speak to each other again...   mortal enemies for the rest of their lives!

I would bloody well say so! I can get onboard with all of that.

Hahahaha! Yep! That would be Nathan and JJ1 in RL for sure (well, except JJ1 wouldn't do the fighty stuff, just shouty stuff!). The phonecall thing was the same as agreeing to go back in the pub to save face!

He has held a grudge with Corin for weeks ,he won't let that go,a grudge because Corin dared to stand up to him and not be brow beaten,as a result he despises that girl....He hears Nathan is dating Rachael and is displeased at what he's been saying, where did the I don't give an eff big I am go?,we got Tiny Tears in the DR wanting to run away ....Saying about the booing to the other hm,the booing he doesn't give an eff about either so he said.,pathetic.

I went to a pub like that once in Feltham with some of my mates that are Cabin Crew . We took one look inside, spun in unison and minced as fast as we could out of the joint.
I think you should point out Feltham is near Heathrow Airport suzy!

Otherwise you sound like you and your mates are from the Hounslow Posse, innit!
