In her shoes a grump would be the least of my worries,we're all capable of being grumpy..

Yes, we're all capable (even me  , but to have a nice chat with someone in the evening and then find that he still acts like he hates you the next morning, is emotionally draining.

Perception is often unfounded.We can't expect others to constantly be fawning over us either(I'd hate that),if he done that he'd be accused of crowding/harassing her.She's needy,not his doing not  his fault not  his duty to fulfil.

....she's upset most of the HM's, harrassed Michael..I don't care where she comes in the show I just hope she see's what she looks like when she's drunk and how she's made a holy show of herself..I feel sorry for her children and her family....

One thing I do hope she takes away from this is own her own behaviour and actions.Enough of the blame game,enough of the pity party,enough of the it was a joke excuse,face it for what it is get help get a grip and start acting like a responsible adult.

Well that is a matter of perception too cos in my eyes he has gone out of his way to belittle her almost from day 1. I find him both rude and arrogant.... and quite frankly he would have had me in tears too...... after I had lamped him one of course

I think she's learnt not to crowd him now, but he still seems to blow hot and cold with her, bitching about her one minute and then sitting with her having a laugh.

I think  poor GJ might pass out if we did that.... and then we would be even more exposed.... in every sense of the word !

Any bloke,no,any person would have only had to tell me once to go away and leave them alone,that would have been done end off.In her own book she states she was impossible to argue with ,she would never shut up and how frustrating it was for her husband.She's fully aware of what she is doing,it was frustrating for her husband,it's been frustrating for Michael and the others .

Nah, he`s just fed up to the back teeth of her getting p*ssed. Don`t blame him. Who wants a drunk woman chasing you around, pulling down pants, causing havoc and making a complete fool of herself?  

Denise has a different agenda regarding Michael. 

But firstly, they were going to be in the House together for a maximum of three weeks.... was she not supposed to speak to him the whole time for fear of *crowding* him.....? And why is it OK  for Denise to speak to him when he  condescends  to speak to her?  Sorry, but the table/last meal thing did it for me Lee..... she was not *crowding* him then.... she was simply asking him, along with all the others around the table, a question....  and  (IMO) he went out of his way to be rude, just because it was her!  Quite frankly, it is his behaviour rather than Denise herself that has gained her support..... (well mine at least) But like you say, it is all a matter of perception

It doesn't matter what their agendas are Scotty.... they are both obsessed with each other  Most of the speeches we have seen Michael give have been rants against Denise.....

Not at all Baz, Michael talks about many other subjects. Yes, he`s ranted about her behaviour. If it was any other HM doing what she does, he would be the same. I`m sure he would have preferred her not to make an ar$e of herself but hey ho...that`s Denise   

She wants him to be interested in her. He`s not.  Hence her obsession.

Don't forget, the tell her never to speak to me again speech to Natalie and then went outside brushing around her feet for ages.... if that wasn't anything but antagonistic I don't know what is. Three weeks in a confined space with someone that blatantly makes it obvious they hate you can't be fun 

Well I haven't seen him do much except rant about Denise, or lay in bed in those PJs .... oh and complain about tasks.... in fact complain generally Scotty   Sorry, but I think they are two sides of the same coin.... even down to the drinking.....  and I still say that had it not been for the dislike of Denise (both  his and the forums), he would have sunk into  HM obscurity ages ago

I`ve liked Michael from day one. His or the forums dislike for Denise has nothing to do with it. I would have preferred if he hadn`t been harassed by the mad drunk lady and had an easier time of it...I`m sure he would too.   I like him because he`s witty, intelligent and interesting. He can be a bit of a grump but that all adds to his character.  

Pity we havent heard more from Michael about his life, been reading his bio on Wiki. Didnt know he is a poet and photographer, and does a lot of charity work. But its been a bit overshadowed by Denise and her dramas...........

I meant his previous well documented drink problems Scotty   And yes, I think we are watching different programmes.... but then it would be a funny, not to mention boring, old world if we all saw things the same    What you see as a witty, intelligent, interesting man, I see as an arrogant, very boring,  and potentially nasty old grump.....

Oh, I see, so Michael having previous drinking problems and Denise`s current problem somehow makes them "two sides of the same coin?"  I don`t get that connection at all but never mind...

I don`t dislike Denise btw, I feel sorry for her at times, but her drunken antics have affected and upset quite a few in there..not only Michael.
