Why shouldn't she be queen Darlo?
She is the heir to the throne's wife.
Ergo she should be queen.

I am not an expert on matters of the crown but I understand It will take an act of parliament to stop her becoming Queen.

unless he forgoes becoming King and I can't see that happening, there is nothing to stop her becoming Queen.
Charles is banking on the fact that people don't object to Camilla as much as they once did and so will accept her as his Queen

She was always going to be Queen, darlo. They might have said that she wouldn't ever be, but they didn't mean it.

I have no objections to Camilla being queen.

I'm not sure the Camilla "hate" is as strong as it once was - I actually don't mind her too much.
She seems pretty down to earth.

Its all a Giant farce he was forced to marry her as well. First Diana then Camilla. They don't even live together. They should all give it up and live normal lives and marry who they like. The expression "fame hungry" is thrown about a lot at the moment that they define it for me.

she spends most of her time at her hold home because apparently Charles is afraid that her grandchildren will damage items at Highgrove. He doesn't really like little children She also feels more comfortable there because she can be herself

Funniest thing I read about Scottish independence was about 20 odd years ago it was something like this... PS it was in the Sunday post......
"In the event of Scotland gaining independence, wouldn't Princess Anne make a lovely monarch"

I couldn't care less, tbh.
If he had been allowed to marry someone with a less than intact hymen, she probably would have been in there earlier.
Or he would.

Oh I say!
Oh please hymen smimen. He married her cause he thought she was thick and cute ... cute babies... she was cute, but also not dumb, became very media savy, and it bit him on the saggy arse.

Yes, but he should have married his first (only) love, Clamydia Camilla, but wasn't 'allowed' to.
His first on only love is himself never forget that

Of course, plus architecture and talking to plants and such.
I seem to recall that he was playing off Camilla against Kanga all those years ago. It will probably get another mention in The Eye soon.
oh has brian may asked charles if camilla can join up for a tour then?.....
If he ends up being king then she'll be queen, even if she's not formally given the title. What else could she be?

A princess, Prince Philip is a Prince not a king wont it be the same for camilla? She will be a princess not a queen

I see your point duchess but he's a prince already so he then becomes a King and a King trumps a Queen (kind of, it's sexist isn't it?) so surely she'll be a Queen? I see your point but I wonder if it works the same way. And what if Charles dies, she can't then become the Queen Mother of William? Now I think about it, I think you're probably right, but it still sounds a bit daft calling her a princess when she's married to the King.
She could be a Princess Cortina, or something.

No - the wife of a British King becomes the Queen Consort. That's the way the system always works.A princess, Prince Philip is a Prince not a king wont it be the same for camilla? She will be a princess not a queen
It's different for the husband of a Queen. In the UK, there no automatic right of the consort of a Queen to receive any title. Queen Victoria wanted to make her husband King Consort, but the government refused as Albert was a foreigner.
Our Queen's husband Phillip was never been formally designated Prince Consort or King Consort. He wasn't given the title "Prince of the United Kingdom" until five years after she became Queen. To some extent, this was to restore his old status: Phillip was originally a "Prince of Greece and Denmark", but renounced that title before his marriage, and was then made a Duke.
The whole nonsense about Camilla being "Princess Consort" was just a sop to public opinion. It's significant that the official government line has always contradicted this, and it was confirmed during Parliamentary discussion "that she would necessarily retain the legal prerogatives reserved for, and the legal title of, a British queen consort". As I understand it, it would require an Act of Parliament for her not to become Queen...
Ok thanks for clearing that up I didn't know all that i just thought it would just be the other way round like the present line up queen and prince philip i thought it would be king and princess camilla
I am more than happy for Camilla to be Queen. I also don't think Charles should step down for William.
This really is the biggest fuss over nothing that the media has made since the last fuss over nothing. It must be a slow time for news
not really bothered.... they are all a bit funny looking so one is as bad as the next imo
