Good news only please!

Currently in Preston... supposed to continue snowing here right up til 9am tomorrow morning. Coming down quite heavy aswell.

Started snowing here in Cheshire too.... but not too much as yet..

I'll be worrying about your side of the country on Thursday ...........my son is due home from Manchester. I'll be happy if the snow moves around to suit me with my travelling plans! Selfish or what

We had some earlier today in London but although it's settled it is sparse.


Still, it'll probably cause major trauma seeing as we can never cope with snow in GB

Its ridiculous really, other countries function with it well, why are we so bad ?

Coz by law Sky, other countries have to have snow tracks and stuff on their vehicles. Anything that enables them to get around better than we do

Yes we are good sticking our nose into other countries business, but not good at learning lessons from them. No i wont get on my soapbox !

It's not snowing right this minute but the weather is causing havoc at Heathrow and the flight paths are changing and planes are circling and it's interrupting my ears

I can only think that maybe some of the runways are icing over or there's a problem with one of a few of the planes on the ground or summat.

Dont want to be depressing but wish i could just cancel this Christmas, cant be bothered with it all. Having a chill out night watching Gold, knowing tomorrow its all hands on deck, Tree has to go up, and put on my smiley face...my sons father will be having a visit, and i hate him. Oh God

Hope it doesnt snow where i am, we are having the kitchen roof re-tiled and there is only the felt and battens on at the moment. He is coming back tomorrow to put the tiles on.

Its covered with felt and he has put a plastic cover over the whole roof so should be OK. Keeping everything crossed it is fine tomorrow so he can finish it. Good luck with your move.
