Sheffield Wensder are playing my team tomorrow. Mrs Jer and I like to book in and see a bit of the town, however the nearest we could get was Meadowhall. Just doing it in one day now.

 

Ah. Now a word of warning, Sheffield Wednesday are my team GJ  . I am a season ticket holder and will be sitting a little uncomfortably tomorrow. A point against Peterborough last week would have been my ideal scenario. But The Wednesday always like to it the hard way and make us sweat 

I always knew you had good taste ec, I have some good memories of standing on the kop

I'm still on the Kop, but alas not standing no more. Although I did get my seat close to where I used to stand.

I suspect that we will try to get in the park and ride up past the ground see the game and then make our first ever visit to the centre.

West Street blends into Glossop Road.  Both restaurants are on the same stretch of road.

There are charity shops along West Street/Glossop Road. There are also ones opposite the Peace Gardens and along Pinstone Street.

 

As you look at the picture of the Peace Gardens below the shops are to the left hand side. West Street/Glossop Road are about 10 mins walk from here.

OWLS v MIDDLESBROUGH TICKET UPDATE

Sheffield Wednesday are advising supporters that Saturday's season finale against Middlesbrough at Hillsborough is all-ticket. No tickets will be available to buy on the day of the game.

With the Championship survival battle now at boiling point, the Owls head into the season finale knowing victory will guarantee Championship status.

The North Stand has already completely sold out and with under 600 seats currently remaining the Kop* is likely to follow suit soon.

 

Following the release of a further 600 tickets in the South Stand yesterday, just under 2,000 tickets currently remain in total for Owls fans.

We had 4000 at Barnsley the opening away game but we've been struggling to get 1000 since Christmas. I understand we sold our initial 1500 and received another 200. As you probably know the owls had the best away following at the riverside this time around.

Looking forward to it. I suppose a draw is the preferred result. My major concern is that the Posh stay up. It's the best away game of the season.
