Are you a snob? I am (I was lying with the thread title, sorry). I am a music snob. I look down on people who do not appreciate the music I like and opt instead to listen to Kylie, boy/girl bands etc. I will never see them as people to be taken seriously, ever. If they ever offer me advice on important matters I will immediately refer them to their taste in music which nullifies any words of wisdom they may care to impart.

What sort of snob are you? I am sure there are many different types of snob. I even found a garden snob on the internet (her name is Aimee, she specialises in garden snobbery).

Hmmmm, maybe I haven't had the full 'go' but is that not a bit extreme?

no I'm just particular (& Fern if change my letters I'll stalk you on FB ). It's like if the washing is on the line & it gets a little rain on it, it has to be re-rinsed with fabric softner

I hate Asda..only cos I know what I want and can't get there for those that don't!!. Morrisons.....made me redundant after 30 years service not so long ago so I have a grudge against them.......allthough I've just started to shop back there (in the absence of some other decent supermarket) Tesco............ well.......have yet to be convinced.......only supermarkets in vicinity

I am a book snob. I try not to be ... when mother asks me if I have any books for her to read I show willing. I skim the contents of my bookcases but frankly even the trash I read (and I do read some) isn't her cuppa. Her genre is frankly my idea of hell in print. Poor working class Derbyshire girl meets hot young squire in 1913 and ... well I can only guess as I've now lost interest. Oh - and those books involving mistreated children (my father locked me in an attic and forced me to breastfeed hedgehogs until I was 23) and my particular bete noire Dan Fecking Brown. It's part envy - would love to make millions writing complete crap - but mostly snobbery at the poor shoddy quality of his books.
