I dunno tbh. I may go and weed some of the garden. Already done some washing. Probably just be idle as per

Mr Woo is in one of his 'really getting on my nerves' moods this morning. He is driving me up the bl**dy wall.

 

Send him into the garden/shopping/down the pub 

He's just gone to work (thank God) - I'll let the staff suffer him for a bit.

I've just done the lawn before it started raining. :huzzah: Now I shall dust, polish, and Hoover the house from top to bottom.

^^^^ Very impressed - the one I got 40 years ago didn't come with the 'extras'.

 

 

 

Joe, when you have done the jobs to do you show them to Mrs Joe?  Whenever Mr C does a housework job he feels it necessary to show me.  So now when I've done the house from top to bottom I take him around and show him everything I have done.  Even down to showing him the cleaned soap tray and bathroom bin 

Not as such, no. Don't forget that I retired early, and whilst I have a good pension, Mrs Jer is the one still bringing in new money. It was Mr Zappa who suggested that we find what we are good at and showcase it. Horses for courses. She enjoys sitting in front of the computer, and writing, designing, and publishing. That's good enough for me. I worked shifts for over thirty years and during that time would not be able to tell the difference between a Hoover and a can of polish.

I admire a man that helps in the house.  Give him his due, Mr C tends to do more of the laundry than I do (apart from the folding).  But his idea of tidying up is to stack everything in a corner.

Now my dad is retired he likes to "help" with the housework, mum says he doesn't do it right  poor dad 

It's quiet in here today, everyone doing the housework

Although I had to wait for my granddaughter to go to the shop with grandpa because she is frightened of the hoover
