I've got to go to the hell hole that is also known as Bulwell
Went through Nottingham yesterday and it appeared to be national chopping down tree day, lovely trees, big and small, had/were being chopped!
I went to Scunthorpe again yesterday (I love The Range). Lived in NE Lincs for 26 years - Scunny is 35 minutes away - we had a shop there for 15+ years but it's only about the fourth time I've been there. It's getting (or has already got) a dreadful reputation especially after that Ch4 programme.
Do you know what? There are some really lovely parts to it - lovely green areas and some gorgeous houses in the surrounding villages. Isn't it a shame that the massive collapse of an industry that was so vital to the town has led to a near collapse of the place itself.
It's a shame.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cadbury for this:
And now I would like to thank the internet for this, proper belly laughs when I saw it
