I went to Scunthorpe again yesterday (I love The Range). Lived in NE Lincs for 26 years - Scunny is 35 minutes away - we had a shop there for 15+ years but it's only about the fourth time I've been there. It's getting (or has already got) a dreadful reputation especially after that Ch4 programme.

 

Do you know what? There are some really lovely parts to it - lovely green areas and some gorgeous houses in the surrounding villages. Isn't it a shame that the massive collapse of an industry that was so vital to the town has led to a near collapse of the place itself.

 

It's a shame.

You will have to visit Boston, the range is moving into an old supermarket

My dad calls it high fore head country  or Bulwell kids don't have dummies they have a Greggs sausage roll shoved in their mouth instead  I might have told you this before but me and my dad was in Wilkos in Bulwell and this woman was shouting at her kid and she yelled angel f---ing get here, my dad just looked at me and went
