Yes ...................bit of an odd one too.  A lot of prep for tomorrow - builders in to do bathroom and a new ensuite (quite a bit if structural work) three rooms have had to be emptied. Roast dinner for eight yesterday (should have been barbeque but fridge broke down so had to dump all the food) .................everyone moaned so had barbie today.

I'm a bit exhausted and a bit discombobulated and not looking forward to the next few weeks - everywhere is upside down and they've not even started yet!!

I had my kitchen done last year and a wall knocked down etc, .................bloomin nightmare but worth it in the end. I shamelessly whinged endlessly on here every day  BE WARNED!

I know and feel your pains

The house we live in now took 6 months to become habitable.  Builders morning noon and night (yes, a couple of them even slept overnight on occasion ).  Then when it was decently 'toshed' we started 'proper'.

They left 18 months later

And no, there wasn't a John Wayne in sight.
