V2- V1
V1 is the Initial Volume and V2 is the Final Volume. To obtain the Initial volume, measure the amount of water you have in your instrument before putting the object in and record that value. Lastly, measure the amount of water you have now that you've dropped your object in. Record this value too. Now you have your initital and final volume and are almost ready to get your Density! Mass, by the way, is a given. All you have to do is basically weigh whatever object you have
