This is not new news from Ronnie, in his sports stories documentary recently he said, i've realised i'm spending money but not earning anything and it doesn't sit easy with me, i've tried to look for something else to do but haven't found anything and instead I was staying in bed till 10, he needs money so he goes out to work and going out to work for Ronnie is playing snooker as he has said himself it's the only thing he knows what to do, it would be the same for Beckham i'd think, if he needed money you wouldn't see him going down the local builders yard, he do something related to football as it's the only thing he knows what to do.

 this is his problem from what I was listening to this morning - it is more consistant now and there are no huge gaps/breaks between tournaments - I dont think he aims to quit completely but do as Steve Davis does - pick and choose where and when he plays - turn up and see how it goes - I think it is the new system he doesnt want or have the love/urge anymore to commit to
