theyre doing a special on MJ, i think theyre basing it on an interview that he did in 1982 or summat
mike ellen was the ED back then

it was my music bible when i was a kid
i also bought NME and melody maker but, the words were to big for me to understand

but God i felt cool at the newsagents buying them

I read this somewhere else yes Smash Hits are doing a one off edition with a tribute magazine to Michael Jackson. I think this is great and i used to get Smash Hits as a kid. I will defintely get this magazine. I read its out 7th July

OMG ... Smash Hits ... you've just sent me back to being a teenager china ....

My best friend and I used to pool our pocket money together to buy it between us ... and then argue about who got to keep it overnight ...

And many was the catfight I had over the cutting out of the lyrics ...

My door frame had to be repainted to cover them all up a few years ago. I loved them, and especially their handy size!

And I always used to never use the ones of the people I really liked, I just used to save them until I thought of somewhere worthy for them.
