I loath mobile phones,I need one to keep in touch with my elderly mother, and when I travel with my neice to her  feis.( in case we breakdown or get lost, usually lost)
I hate people who have LOUD convos on their phone when I am at dinner / on the train /Bus!!
I write letters to my friend in Canada, she loves to get them ,no  emails or skipe.a simple ,yet a very much appreciated letter from home.

Sony Ericson on O2 Pay as You Go. It's less than a year old only because I managed to lose the previous one. It started life with ÂĢ15 in it and has currently just under ÂĢ10. I only have it in case I need to contact home when I am neither at home nor in the office. ( e.g. Last winter I had to phone home from a taxi one snowy winter's evening. It was two hours later when I finally got home. The journey usually takes 20 minutes!) The main use it gets, however, is texting my sister when I am traveling to visit her and again when I am traveling back home.

Ah right  Upto now, I've allways had Samsungs, but my last one - the one I've got now is a Sony 595. I'm happy enough with it but want to upgrade to the 995. I was on PAYG but have just entered into a contract tonight with Virgin - ÂĢ8.50 per month - unlimited texts and 100 minutes. I'm gonna phone in a couple of days time and ask if I can buy the 995. Free on monthly contract (depending on what tariff) but 100 quid otherwise for ÂĢ10 quid a month. I've got ÂĢ20 worth of rewards off a new phone and was hoping to use that
