Mr C will wet his pants with excitement when I show him that clip El loro, he's desperate to try the wing suit (some of his sky dive mates have just bought them), but unfortunately he's a bit on the ermmmmm chunky side at the moment 

There's another bloke attempting some sky dive record, it might be highest and longest free fall, I'll have a look see if I can find it again.

Mr C gets a monthly sky dive magazine and it has a memorial section for those lost during the previous month.

 Rather him than me..... like you say, it doe seem a bit extreme

Baz there were 2 guys that did a dive with those wing suits on, part of the dive involved them whizzing past a bridge full of people watching and filming.  One of them miscalculated and smashed in to the bridge.  His remains where recovered from the bottom of the ravine in several parts.

 Good grief........ how sad I've never been an *adrenalin junkie* ... even when I was young........ I can see enough danger in crossing the road

After doing the tandem jump last year I can understand the buzz.  But to be honest every time Mr C goes off sky diving I always expect to see a police car pulling up at the house, and when I do go to watch him, I always see someone falling out of control and not pulling their chute, and that really is just me seeing things.

Don't know about you Cinds but the buzz I had once I'd done my jump was amazing. I'd have gone straight back up and jumped out without a parachute. I felt invincible 

 .... Mr Baz used to do parachute jumping when he was in the army, and loved it...... but that was a few decades ago now

I have to say that I think I could do it with a parachute.... as long as I was in tandem with an instructor....... but no way without one

I forgot about the bloke strapped to me when I jumped out  After the initial swearing and 2 seconds of fear I became Superwoman 

I saw a programme about two friends who liked to do this last year. One of them ended up in traction and quit jumping! It must be quite the adrenalin rush, but is just too dangerous for me to have ever contemplated doing!

I never know whether people who do things like that are crazy or brave lol. If I was offered 100 parachutes and ten million pounds I couldn't do it

The guy talking in this is probably one of the most famous wing suit divers of today.  But this is one that went drastically wrong for his mate.
