prior to my wedding I went and got measured at 4 different shops... and got 4 completely different measurements.
Went with the most attractive sounding one of course!
I tend to know what size I am for about 3 different shops.... and buy most from these 3 shops.
I too have a drawer of v pretty but ill fitting ones.... usually bought online!

i know me too e-bay is toooooooo tempting but as for the sizing who's in the wrong
Nope, I took a rough guess from some measurements and found it comfy. There are some guides that tell you what needs adjusting based on where it digs in or is too loose, if that helps.
Actually, I think it's time I measured again...I'm fairly sure that I'm not the same size I was last time I checked.

i wish there pink but not perky
go and get measured and fitted, stores on the high street do it,
once you get fitted with the one you like the fitter will tell you that it is ony in that model that the size will fit you, in other words, for each style you need a fitting, even when the bra is the store's own brand.
I only ever wear skin tone or black, saves a lot of bother and messing about, but maybe a bit on the boring side.

Even if you're properly measured, different labels/brands still fit differently ... Measure yourself (or avail of a measuring service provided by the likes of M&S), but take the size beneath and above your size into the fitting room too ... Or stick to a label where you can trust the sizing ...
oh i know ... one store says blah blah ÂĢ34.00, bonne marche says ÂĢ3.00 same size ..... no chance .. dearer store wants a sale ....... i want a good fitting bra on the cheap (only for one day)_quote:Originally posted by keef193:

I wonder why a bra scientist hasnât invented a one size fits all type bra, the type you could put on and it automatically grows or shrinks to fit you perfectly. They would earn a fortune.
Oooh technical bra... I like the sound of that.
I am dead jellus of my friends bra (she has little boobs).. her bra came with a little pump thing... it came with tools!!!!

I was totally getting confused by bra size but M&S finally helped me out and now have comfy fitting bras, I was larger than I thought lol
I find anyone who need a tape measure, doesn't know what they are doing.
I went to a wee old fashioned shop and she just looked at me, and brought out this hammock type thing and it fitted me perfectly.
Ann Summers and M+S have both sold me bras that I never wore again because the size was way wrong.
