He may have realised this now as noirin has gone back to her daddy and he has been left in the cold
but marcus and him are now friends and his stupidity of thinking there was something happening between him and poisoned noirin has all turned to dust thankfully and he can now get back in the game and hopefully stay till the end

In terms of the game this may work out well for him. He was in danger of losing popularity being attached to Noirin. Now he has the sympathy of many outside the house as well as his fellow housemates.
