But why leave such a nice moment out? I didn't think it was that great an edit in general for Siavash tonight.

They left out when Marcus gave her advice earlier on in the series as well. The main thing is that the re-emergence of the Kris story which could have been an opportunity for Sophie has seemed to turn into the opposite.

All of tonight's highlights was anti-Siavash.

Focussing in on Siavash laughing during the whistling task. I wonder if anyone else laughed? Guess we'll never know.

Focussing in on Siavash in the bedroom while some of the housemates were practicing their whistling, and Charlie complaining about Siavash in the Diary Room for not trying hard enough.

Focussing in on Siavash talking about nominations, but not showing ANYONE else doing it.

Failing to show Siavash consolling Sophie about Kris.

BB want Siavash out this week and I suspect they'll get their wish because forum opinion has already bought into BB's plan.

It was never going to be a positive opportunity, or a straight forward opportunity for Sophie to deal with - but you seem to suggest that she has missed a chance which seems incorrect. For instance, the show started with a lengthy DR rant from her (her first non noms or task DR inclusion for several weeks) and concluded with her lengthy living room debate regarding the same topic.

Vid, I watched LF and Siavash, Marcus, Roddy, Sophie, Lisa, David and Charlie were all talking about noms.

The majority felt they didn't want to nom each other. Charlie was cacking himself David looked shifty too.

Lisa, David and Sophie were in the garden. David suggested he and Marcus might be up crafty Lisa listened as David implied it might be Marcus and Siavash up, to which Sophie replied I don't want to vote as I don't want Siavash to go.

Meanwhile Siavash, Marcus and Rodrigo were in the bedroom...Rodrigo was of the same stance as Sophie he said he didn't want to vote, to which Siavash said are you sure about that? Rodrigo said he is not afraid of being up, and was happy to refuse to nom, Marcus agreed, and all three pondered why some in the house seemed reluctant to go up for eviction.

It wasn't good. Is this the real (unannounced/unofficial)punishment for refusing to nominate?

hi CS. Sophie and Siavash have a lovely easy friendship and I know the bit you are referring to, where he held her hand and took her into the bedroom. It was very tender. Of course, Siavash got a rubbish edit tonight and he was made to look selfish and self-centred in nearly every scene. He gave her some very good advice about Kris as well, and it was lovely when she said at the bus stop that she didn't want Siavash to leave. Sophie is coming into her own these past few weeks and I am starting to like her more and more. Her biggest mistake was getting with Kris and she knows that now.

Well said Twee, and true I watched LF too. Siavash and Sophie have always had a good friendship and they are like brother and sister with each other. Of course BB will play this down because they hate the fact Siavash is so popular.

They certainly pieced that final scene together carefully and i think it worked quite well for Sophie. But as you mentioned Siavash escorting her to the bedroom and sending her to bed with positive thoughts was such a nice moment.

Just one question, who brought up the topic of not nominating seconds after Bea left the house.?

Of course Siavash, but in the greater scheme of things I am glad it's been brought up, because I personally want them all up, because I want Charlie or Lisa out.

hi SR. It has to be said that the edit tonight was slanted. We had lots of Lisa and David in the smoking pit, bigging up each other and it was making me Sick just listening to their BS. Charlie was prancing around like Bambi on speed but he still managed to get in a cheeky chappie diary room entry grrrrr. Lots of Marcus lying around being mardy, etc. But lots and lots of Siavash looking selfish and obsessed about nominations with none of the others seemingly talking about it. On live feed, they were all talking about it so why chop it all up to make Siavash seem like the only one who was doing it. They are doing a hatchet job on Siavash, like they did with Freddie. Mad

Only after Siavash brought the topic up...AGAIN.

Why is it important who started the conversation?

Because I doubt anyone would have even thought about not nominating or messing with noms if Siavash didn't bring it up.

But having brought it up, a lot of them, particularly Marcus, Rodrigo, and Sophie, seemed to agree that it was a good idea. But suprise, none of their nomination chat was shown. Just Siavash's, and Charlie moaning about it, just to reinforce negative opinion. And here we are. It worked.
SpiderMonkey
VS, the HLs show showed a scene where only Siavash mentioned nominations shortly after Bea left. It is possible that some of that footage was chopped about as well, to make Siavash look like the only one (and the first one) who mentioned it. It need not have been Siavash who mentioned it first, but it was made to look that way. Watching the live feed last night and then watching the HLs tonight, the true nominations conversations were not shown in their entirety, but chopped to bits to make Siavash look bad.

I watched it live, I dont trust the highlights.

But surely Siavash by doing this is not doing his chances any good?

BB wont allow all the HM's to be up, we all know that and surely even he does.

I guess we'll never know. Frowner

But im going on history and it's always Siavash bringing this idea up.

If he gets his way fair enough, I wont be sad to see Lisa, Charlie or more likely David goes.

Best case scenario for most of us (and greedy Endemol/c4) would be both weeks as everybody up - vote to save.

Both Sophie and Siavash made a suggestion last night that they all nominate two people by agreement, and thereby they would all be up anyway. They both agreed that it would be a fair way to do it. I can't see the real players honouring such an agreement though.

I agree with you that a vote to save would be the best possible outcome.

darlo, she was up to her old tricks last night gathering her troops around her: hugging Charlie, praising David to the rafters, being mummy to all the young uns, giving out sage advice. All the stuff she done in the early days to get Fred nominated. She was targeting Siavash for the chop last night, and one other to be decided Wink
