I am appalled with this charity con he has used to beat Marcus in yesterdays eviction. People have actually voted for him and are spending their cash, under the pretext he will donate it all to charity. This is the lowest form of conning, the only way anyone will ever know if he is truthful, is if he wins... again the public will spend their cash to find this out.

People can mock and think it great, but I find it deeply disturbing, and goes beyond a popularity contest.

His vain camera singing after the eviction, was yet another 'vote for me appeal'.

The smuggish way he posed in the diary room, while slating Charlie, confirmed yet again, his desperation to gain votes.

The overinflated ego has gone into overdrive!

Oh well just the reaction I expected, my point is, when it gets to the public spending, it is almost fraudlike. I think Big Brother have a responsibility for what is shown to the public, else it be construed as blatent manipulation.
I would like to see BB ask him directly if he will confirm this revelation, or he should be seen to retract it, prior to anymore nominations.

Siavash is not genuine. How can he talk about donating the prize money to charity when it has been taken away?

He is well known for being a freeloader. He hasn't paid rent for years, instead he sponges off his friends. He doesn't spend money on clothes, instead he befriends people in the fashion industry and gets free handouts.

He is a con artist!

And for all of that, he is still more popular than Marcus.Smiler

It more or less proves my point of him being a con artist.

You forgot to point out the prize money is not his to give away, much as he may think it is.

Let's talk about con artists. Who pretended to be Freddie's friend while Lisa and Kris bullied him, but now wants Lisa to win? Hmm, who was that? Oh yes Marcus.

Marcus used Freddie's popularity to boost his own image with the public when deep down he didn't give a shit.

There's your con man.

The point is, he is using it to manipulate the public, they spend their money in good faith, but there is no guarentee he will give it all, or a marginal amount. He is not under oath to donate, but people will think it a magnanimous gesture and vote generously, so he wins.
It is not right and morally wrong for it to even be allowed as a HMs gameplan.

To put it another way: How would you all feel if he didn't donate?

Spider, my comments are nothing to do with Charlie, even though I see SeeTheCash seeing him as the next threat to annhilate.
We will never know if he increased Marcus's eviction votes because of this blatent charity manipulation... as we will never know the truth, unless he is hauled into the diary room to confirm his intentions.

Well you mentioned Charlie in your OP.

Charlie, the guy who nominated Marcus this week, and his reason for nominating him was "He is vulgar and nasty", but when he's actually evicted, Charlie then talks about the loss of his great friend and how he is "gutted" that he's gone.

I'm not sure if Charlie is a con man, or just completely stupid. Surely he must be aware that we are still watching...

He WAS friendly with Freddie. He didn't use Freddie's popularity to boost his own image. He picked Lisa's name for the winner at a highly emotive time for him just after being evicted and on live TV. The question was sprung on him. But having said that, Lisa is as good or as bad as any of them left in there. Whoever's name he said last night there would be many people who disagree with him.

He was the one who had to live with them all and endure them. If he thinks Lisa should win then who are we to say he's wrong?

As I don't know him I can't "judge" him for something he hasn't done yet, that's assuming he wins anyway. If he was to win and it was later discovered he donated nothing to charity then that's for his conscience to deal with, not those who spent money on making him a winner either because they just liked him anyway, or because he talked about a charitable donation.

I know what your point is. You missed mine. He's acting as though he's already won.

Did you actually hear what he said? He said whatever money they win and whoever wins it, if they are not bothered about the money can the money not go to charity...not him or anyone was mentioned.! It was plain enough to understand, he said he would keep the clothes on, ten grand, and whatever else was won...now how is that conning anyone?

Well, it's nothing to do with him either way. He didn't lose it single-handedly and whether or not he wants to give it away if he wins is up to him. In the meantime, I don't think he's playing a game at all. He will be called all sorts of names if he doesn't and he's not the sort of person that wants to be disliked.

He said he would donate his 10k to charity and SUGGESTED everyone else do the same. He hasn't won the 10k yet, and what the eventual winner decided to do with the money is absolutely no concern of his. It was a PR stunt. He has you fooled. Not me.

That was a convenient ploy for the cameras, to embarrass the others and has no bearing on his real motives IMO. Which are to make himself look the nice guy that is going to give it all to charity should he win. The only way he is going to win is through public appeal, whether he has an existing fan base or not, he is securing his victory through this manipulation, plain and simple IMO (again)!

Why should they agree to that? And why did he decide to bring it up on the night before the evictions? Anyone with half a brain knows why. The majority of people in Britain don't have half a brain and that's what he's banking on.
