How would Siavash know that? Do you usually end your friendships if a mate starts seeing someone that you fancied aswell but couldn't get?

I think Siavasgh feels a bit stoopid and identifies with Marcus because he also believed there to be more to Noirin's feelings than there actually was. Just "cuddles" wasn't what either of them had in mind. Neither would have crossed the boundaries if they had seen a dead end in sight.
