"I'm not walking out. Big Brother just called me in and I'm going to win £10,000 for everyone by packing my clothes and giving them away. I have to wear a costume they give me," Siavash explained, before adding a little something of his own…

"I have an idea that I think everyone would really like. I think that we've all had loads of fun in the House. I suggest that we give the £100,000 to Big Brother and say we don't want it," he explained. To an audience stunned into silence.

"I don't understand," said Charlie.

"I'm saying that if no-one cares, we should give the money away to charity," Siavash explained.

"I think we should put all we can back in the prize fund and whoever wins, wins it," said Charlie.

Eventually, it began to sink in that Siavash's Task was probably the tip of the iceberg and that they would all face some kind of cash/sacrifice scenario.

"Can you imagine if they asked me to shave my head? I seriously wouldn't do it. No way," said Sophie as she helped Siavash pack.

Charlie didnt like that ideaLaugh

It might be a good idea for him but he shouldn't expect anyone else to agree. He always comes up with his 'good ideas' about nominations or whatever and then expects others to follow him like sheep. It never works and only lands him in hot water. Big Grin

What has gotten into him of late? Confused

I don't think he is telling them they have to... just a suggestion, a wise thing to do aswellNod Expose the ones who said they don't care about the money to be bullshitters
MrMincePie
I don't believe for a second that Siavash doesn't want the money. Of course they want the money. They want the money and they want the 15 minutes of fame - otherwise why go on the show? Its not up to Siavash to decide if people want to win or not. Even BB editing can't make Charlie look bad - he said what they were all thinking - earn back and who wins, wins. People here are constantly complaining about BB editing, who's to say that no other house mate said the same thing? Its just that BB chose to tell us Charlie's response. I have never heard Charlie say he doesn't want the money, he wants it for his mum. Whether she is sick or not, none of us can tell but he does want the money as the rest of them do but won't admit it (or BB chooses not to let us know they've admitted it).

Sorry but Siavash just talks rubbish he tries to manipulate the votes now he is trying to manipulate the prize money and make himself look good Roll Eyes whoever wins can give money to charity if they want to not when being told what they should do by Siavash, I really hope he leaves friday Disappointed

Its smart, expose the wankers... they all said they don't care about the money, so why not agree to it? Roll Eyes
MrMincePie
You should not force people into a corner and make them feel bad about not giving to charity.
What charity does the money go to.
There are some charities I give to and some I would not.
What if one of the housemates has a huge debt that could be cleared with that money.
That was a very clearly done to make himself look good.

Whats wrong with making himself look good?Cool
MrMincePie
As much as I want Siavash to win, not a smart suggestion as far as the public goes, ppl will think he wants to look good.

But yeaahhhhhh on him, the hm's must be boiling inside to scream at him but they wont want to look bad in the public. Watch the eyes on each hm, you will know who agreed and who did not, what a great storyline this "could" be

Just one more mistake to add to all the others Siavash.

He did well though, Charlie looks like a bigger fool nowLaugh

"I don't care about the money"

Seems to have changed his mind now.

Hmmmmmmmm Ninja
I'm not sure about this at all. If Siavash wants to give it to charity (if he wins) that's all well and good.
But he's wrong to seek to impose his ideas or values onto the others - and in doing so, try to make them look bad if they disagree.
Unless it turns out to be him, what business is it of his what the eventual winner does with the money?

I disagree ...... it's a very generous gesture .... he's offering to forfeit any money he may win too ..... rather a selfless act, imo.

Perhaps the pending eviction is starting to get to him and he's loosing his head a bit but I'm not keen on these sweeping gestures, it comes over as trying to ingratiate himself with the viewers.

As obvious as Charlie and his lack of bad bones.

Siavash has watched these HMs for twelve weeks now and I bet he has a handle on each and every one of them by now. He has seen how the cheating nominations worked and how he has seen some of the outside gang getting evicted by the cheating Lisa gang block nominations. He could have kept quiet and just gone like all the rest of the victims of the cheating but he decided to take a stand, by not nominating, and attempting to expose unfair play in a game designed to award the winner as a public's choice winner. It was looking to Siavash, and us, that Lisa was actually choosing the winner for us this year.

Siavash, by his actions regarding nominations, and his comments about the cash prize going to charity, is actually sprinkling the worst kind of smarting salt into the most open of wounds when he mentions giving the money away. Siavash is now using events in the house to turn the tables on the cheats and forcing them to look in their separate mirrors. I also think that this is a ploy by BB to open the competition up to fair play again, when they removed the cash prize.
