I've been saying for a while on this forum that Siavash is more concerned about how he is seen on the outside than about really being 'lovesick'. On today's HLs he was talking about his 'international humiliation'. Marcus commented that he seemed more concerned about his image than about Noirin. So Marcus has been thinking the same way as me. I'm happy with that as Marcus can be quite perceptive at times.

Then in a conversation to Isaac Siavash said he had been 'very good friends' with Noirin, well I'm not sure about that Siavash lol. Marcus had certainly been a longer friend and maybe closer with their long chats than Siavash has been.

And I would add if anyone is trying over excert the meaning of cool it's Marcus, who rather than being cool, is a 35 year old man with a manky pony tail, who acts like a prize prat.

He was noirin's 'friend' as long as marcus was ... Without LF it's impossible to see how much time people spend together, but he, noirin and marcus were close from the start ... The whole 'bunnygate' episode would not have happened otherwise ... the crux of that whole argument between noirin and siavash was 'friendship' and both having issues with each other about friendship being 'betrayed' ... Their 'relationship' was in the making from very early on ...

In a convo between him and Lisa it was said that on the first night when he saw Noirin he thought she's the girl I'll marry.

When they got together maybe he thought it would happen when he said to her about "ten years from now"

I'm sure they all wonder about how they're perceived outside, which is why they question newcomers.

I think he genuinely feels hurt and used, but that's what Noirin does

That's for humour.

Marcus freely admitted he could look like a 'complete tit' chasing after Noirin, but he didn't mind at all. He fancied her so much that that meant nothing to him.

ref your last paragraph FT: The difference between Marcus and Siavash in this instance is that Siavash got close up and personal with Noirin, whereas Marcus never did. She could not bear to be anywhere near Marcus physically but she snogged the face off Siavash. Can you blame her for the latter? lol

I remember the night Siavash said that to Cairon. Siavash carried a torch for Noirin for weeks.

Strange then that he didn't have so much conversation with her and even had some big argument as well. It was Marcus who had to try and convince Freddie and Siavash that Noirin was ok and wasn't just annoying. He was Noirin's third choice in the house, she played along with Sree and then she had a friendship with Marcus. Only when she found out he was a favourite did she show interest.

I didn't remember the convo but Lisa obviously knew he'd said that. I think he's been very generous to Noirin in his remarks to her and others since Isaac went in, I also think he's been respectful to Isaac. And although he keeps saying "it's all good" in the DR he said that that's not how he really feels

That's wrong, there were quite a few occasions where she cuddled right up to Marcus, got under a duvet with him etc etc. But the point is that a grope doesn't necessarily mean a close friendship, it can just mean a brief fling and nothing more.

I can't comment on when Noirin's attraction grew for Siavash, I was commenting on a convo I remember Siavash having with Cairon, and I knew as early as then that Siavash fancied Noirin.

Noirin said to Marcus that they were just a bunch of freaks, and she questioned whether he actually wore those clothes on the outside. Marcus himself said many times that Noirin was not used to people as individual as him because they weren't the kind of circles she moved in.

But I agree that without live feed it's hard to get the full picture.

Well I suppose very early on HMs may have someone they feel a quick attraction to, but if that isn't followed up I suppose it doesn't mean that much. And really is something like that anything beyond just a brief physical attraction?

Only Siavash would be able to answer that question.

You must be confused, Siavash got much more than a grope. Are you mixing it up with when Marcus bragged about groping Noirin while she was pissed? Which she denied happened.

I can't remember Noirin ever kissing Marcus in full view of the other HMs, yet she openly kissed Siavash. I agree she was physically close to Marcus as a friend but there was no sexual closeness, as with Siavash. There is a difference. And she also allowed Siavash to sleep alongside her, which she never did with Marcus.

She slept with Siavash for how long, 2 or 3 days? Before that she was flirting with Tom and got on his bed. She will have been on Marcus's bed sometime as well, maybe she didn't sleep with him but there may have been a grope. I don't know if she kissed Marcus in full view of others. It's kind of pointless speculating as I can't remember and anyway we don't have 24 hour live feed.

But my point is a brief fling doesn't equate to some full blown romantic love affair which is what some people are claiming with Siavash/Noirin. Whether there was really much of a connection there is questionable, and Noirin obviously valued other connections she had in the house too. Even after going behind Marcus's back while he was in jail you could tell that she REALLY wanted to still be close to Marcus that night she told him about what had happened. And as far as pure lust goes...she obviously lusted after Tom alot more, going by what she told people in the house.

I think saivash didn't have to keep saying how sad he was about losing Noirin, pretty obvious... how would you slate him if he did... wait let me guess... pull yourself together, she was a sl*t... seriously can you not read between the lines?? or are you also relying on marcus to tell you how things are! sheesh!
