My town....taken from the church tower this summer.

As you can see ... the church is the only thing above sea level for miles around

I love it Dame. The smells, the sights, the sounds... everything. I love London too though.

OMG....Sprouty....my Dad is from Penshaw and we used to holiday on a teeny campsite right on the cliff at Marsden....we were gutted when the joiny bit went....we love the Grotto near there and everything....oooooh....made me want to go up there again now....brace yerself Sprouty...my clan may invade you next year!!!!!!!

Where I grew up.

I actually lived in the street running to the left between the town hall and that reddish building. It was a church.

Ooooh...and Sprout...what's the name of the red and white stripey lighthouse nearby??? My Sister had a real love for it....a bit like Ducky and her bridge

         there's a caravan park there now......tis a nice one too 

I love London too Suzy...either way, when do we move in 

Souter     Do we need to ask Ducky about her bridge? 

This is the welcome you get on the approach to our town...known as 'The Bog Roll Roundabout'...it is sooooo bad!!!
