Nice Lori, that huge
I've got 4 trees up and they're ALL tacky
: goes and dismantles trees; starts all over again :
I've got enough penguin ornaments to set up a separate, penguin-only tree.

yeah, well....if I were ALLOWED to put up a penguin-only tree, I would.
Go on, Pengy: let's see yours!

I haven't put a tree up for about 4 years Lori but I do have some cute penguin ornaments that sit in my penguin display cupboard - lovingly known as the igloo. I'm going to the German Market where I live next week so I hope to add to my collection
Just ONE penguin display cupboard? I have more than one...

Awww, that's adorable Kimota.
took me ages to position that star
Brilliant.
Ours in a 6 foot Norwegian Spruce (a fake one, not a real one.) Covered in 200 coloured lights, red gold and silver tinsel and about 50 decorations: baubles, bells, stars and angels and snowmen and santas etc. Sorry, havent took a pic yet.

Will your bengals play havoc with the tree, or are you safe?
Ohhh no they are going to go mental, especially that little silver thing (to whom i am NOT talking to) i am trying to talk lil gyps round to understanding that a tree might not be a good idea this year...but look at the lovely pets she has instead Shes not buying it I KNOW its going to be a complete disaster but i am going to do it anyway...

Sorry to laugh but that sounds so funny Gypsie . I suspect they might see it as another climbing frame?
Maybe try to lure the boys away from the tree with strategically placed catnip? And raw meat parcels for Egypt
I can't be bothered with a tree as such but I do have a lovely tree that a friend made for me about 20 years ago. It's very small but cute as well. And just for Lori I put some of my favourite penguin ornaments beside it
Ignore the wall behind it - it's been plastered but I haven't got around to painting it yet
my cat has taken to hiding under the tree from my granddaughter (1st birthday next saturday) , although she has now realised that there is chocolate on the tree so the cat may not be safe
will try to post a pic of tree sometime this week (help needed!)
Aww Pengy thats a really cute one your friend having made it is lovely too!
I go in for small trees myself - I'll be putting mine up on the 15th. I got it from Amazon last year for 15 quid [baubles + lights included]. The lights packed up after a week. I have some new lights which hopefully will go the distance this year.
Awwww....Pengy, so cuuute!!
Yep, pg, that's it! (*briefly considers more penguin ornaments....*)
gypsie: Kenji likes to look at the tree, and loves to sit under it, but he's never tried to climb it. Might be worth a try.
Lovely Pengles
My tree hasn't been delivered yet and I am getting a bit anxious
I'm not putting one up this year but if I can find a decent one off previous years (mam made me take a pic each year) I may scan it and see if I can put it on
I've got the pics on my fone but cant find the lead for it to upload
My tree is happily residing in the loft until I can be bothered to put it up

I'm not going to be home this christmas (it's my Bermuda trip!) so won't be putting one up. Hope my brother does though. Can't be having Christmas without a tree!
Bermuda sounds great!
Good on you Jenny - hope you have a great time
This is mine.
It's not much but I like it..
LOL Eileen, couldn't you have got a bigger one?
