To answer your question, I am personally opposed to a ban on the burka. Governments role is not to regulate what clothes the public may wear.

No we shouldn't ban them.
I don't like them and in certain circumstances (such as driving or entering security-sensitive areas like banks and airports) they ought to be removed.
But in general, if a woman chooses to wear one, it's none of my business.
