Last month saw this years Grand National. In the race one horse lost his life adding to the long list of National fatalaties. Back in 1862 even a jockey was killed in the race.Do you think its now time to scrap the race or not. Some corners of society have been calling for its ban for years.

I do't think the National should be banned but I do think it should be adjusted
It is a very long race and I am sure some horses come close to a heart attack trying to get through it and jump those fences and win
I think it is a cruel race but cut it back to three miles instead of the 4.5 ?? not sure
and make the jumps safer
I have no wish to see a horse die
the jockeys choose to do it but the horses don't although they will follow the pack and jump when they have shed their jockey
