Sorry VS. If that was the case where would your Mum want you to be?

It wouldn't matter, I would want to be by her side.

It's hardly as if shes in any position to tell him to go for it and win BB10.

Sorry but you don't know that, it becomes very strained being by someones bedside everyday while they are in a coma....

You dont have to by their bedside everyday but at least be in a position where you can visit your loved one regualy.

Anyway as we all know, anyone who points out all the "heartache" they have in their life to anyone who will listen in the BB house is clearly playing the sympathy card.

It might be that they forget the cameras once in a while and just feel relaxed enough to talk openly?

No he shouldn't.

He WILL win because he's a lovely bloke, very interesting to listen to and has standards of behaviour that others find it hard to follow

Sorry VS but he aint no lovely bloke he is on the sympathy vote Just like Pete and Brian.

When has Freddie ever seeked the sympathy vote.?

He never moaned about Lisa and her gang picking on him, he never screamed bully in the DR or to them.

Charlie must have mentioned it at least once because we are talking about it on here.

how can you say what you would do, so you think! I, we, you, us would spend every day at the hospital for the last 2 years. do you think you give up your life when some one is bedridden hospitalised does'nt know you, cant speak to loved ones, cant hold a hand, cant smile, tell me you could do that everyday tell me.

Azure.
Just gone to E4+1 to check on the conversation between Charlie and Marcus.
It was obvious from the direction of the chat that Marcus was already informed about Charlie`s Mum. Don`t know who told him but somedy has. (Presumably that means that others in the house will know about Charlie`s Mum.)
Charlie also mentioned that she (his mother) is speaking his (Charlie`s) name now.
So it would seem safe to deduce that people in the house know about Charlie`s mother, and that she is in the process of recovery.

Err..
I don`t like to think anybody would win on a sympathy vote.
Their family circumstances should not enter into it as far as I`m concerned.
There may be housemates with awful family circumstances who do not speak of it to anybody.
However the people who vote may not think like me.
Then of course we have to have an agreed definition of "what is a sympathy vote?"
Hey ho.
