Why spend loads on washing up liquid !!!

I buy Fairy Liquid because it lasts longer than the cheaper ones.

I buy Asda's own brand ....cos cheap or dear I still squirt as much

I buy Sainsbury's own brand after they did a test on a full range and proved that the 80p washing up liquid performed exactly the same as bigger more expensive brands

Guess what, it washes my dishes just fine.

I really can't see the point in spending loads on designer labels when kids are still growing ....or even when they aren't

Very true. Let's face it, they are still mass produced even if they want you to think they have been hand made.

Exactly ....mind you , my kids were brought up in a  * pre label* world ...thank goodness

I try to buy when on offer. I have also used Tesco's and that is fine too.

My iPod is quite expensive, but I use it every day and I have done so for years and it is great value I think.

Yes ....I put my hands up to being an Apple fan.....

Me too, but I don't replace them just because a new version has appeared.

I wait for hubby/sons' castoffs.

Having said that I have had my mobile 4 years in April and paid around ÂĢ500 for it outright. It's still in almost mint condition. I don't think that is bad value.

That's the thing, if you buy something which is expensive but get years of use, then it's worth the money.

Agreed, that is why I research and tend to look after my purchases. There is a level below which technology can be a bit pants.

I am splashing out on one of these tomorrow. I'm going for the edge.
