My flatmate washed up her pots and even removed her washing from the washing machine!. Mind you I did collar her as soon as she got in, I made sure she couldn't run up to her room and told her straight, she's been ever so quite since, even acting sort of like a child who has had a telling off, I gave her the speech about bacteria growing on the pots left in the sink and how she should consider the fact that she lives in a shared house now and not on her own, cheers folks!

Serves her right. She has nobody to run around after her now she has to learn. I'd have been having nightmares about the pots left in the sink though
And now the gentleman must ask if the lady would like a thorough seeing to, lol
I read the other thread but I was reluctant to post
Brilliant
Hope its done the trick and she continues to clean up at the back of herself.

Sod it. Murder her anyway and bury her under the patio. She'll do it again anyway.

Well done Pooly..
Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!
Serve her right, the mucky mare. If she'd left it any longer, you should have gathered up all the filthy pots, damp clothes and dumped them in a heap on her bed.

My thoughts to Deman..
About time .
I've just been down to the kitchen to get a biscuit and you won't believe it she actually washed and put away her plate and cutlery that she used tonight!!!!!, but I think she's got the hump with me, I just asked her to remember to get some toilet roll this week when she next goes shopping, I got "I know you already told me once this week" as a reply back.
Look on the bright side - maybe she'll get the hump permanently and move out
Good for you for sticking to your guns!
Let's hope it lasts!

There's more to this house share malarkey than I thought.
If the teabag principle is part of the deal, I fully understand her reluctance to have to wash up as well

It's trooooo! a certain thicker brand of bog roll doesn'y break up and dissolve as well as the other ones. It clogs the pipes.
