No, no, don't stand on the nuts!!

Try manipulating them with the long thing (spanner) and if they won't budge, stand on the long thing, to force them loose.

Always loosen your nuts before jacking off up.

It took me 3 hours doing just that a couple of weeks ago, i stood on them, hacksawed them, hit them with a mallet , they were not coming off!

I eventually got them undone with a stanley knife..The wonders of a stanley knife

The results of my handy work are on facebook.

*thanks the lord for the free breakdown service she has with the RAC as part of her insurance package...*

Missed this

I've decided to allow the RAC sort it next time  ..on your recommendations

I'm telling you!  That 2lb baby is now almost 14 and he craps way more weight than he was born. *gags*

You are the perfect example of the OP's point!

Basically, 'generally' means nothing, individually.

   A stanley knife????

You obviously needed the lubrication option, but I'm trying to imagine how on earth a stanley knife worked!!

Can't find it on Facebook.

Hmm - not getting this at all. I know some women who are terrible cooks and some men who cannot do DIY to save their lives.

So who would you suggest does these tasks when people aren't in a relationship? And what about same sex couples? The men would go hungry and the women would live in hovels.

Also where is the empirical evidence that confirms what you assert?

Cobbluz. What about all the famous male chefs? Should they let their wives take over, then? As for the DIY bit, there isn't a flatpack in our house that hasn't been constructed by ME, because my fella's hopeless at that kind of thing. I also do nearly all the gardening, because again, he's useless at anything apart from heaving sacks and digging holes.

He does put out the bins, mind
