This happened to the old lady who lives below my parents. She lost the lot, in a charity shop. I had to supervise  breaking into her house for spare keys, changing locks, taking her to the police and so on.
I always advise ladies, if they can, not to go shopping with handbags or purses. Keep it in your pocket or your partner, if possible. Handbags are the work of the devil, you don't need all that crap just to go shopping.

i was in a charity shop! they had no cctv but the police were going to look at the towns cctv to see if they recognised anyone leaving the shop, it is such a pain cancelling the bank cards ect and i can't replace the photo's, i don't often carry a lot of money but we were going shopping, it's the fact that they were in my hand bag is so upsetting. thanks for the hugs
