I only saw the first one, but IMO the latter happenings were a bit too stupid. Put me off any desire I might otherwise have had to see any further ones.

I loved the original Scream trilogy.

I was only about 9 when the 1st once was out so was quite scared when watching it, but it never stopped me watching

Scream never took itself too serious while not being too dalf either sometimes people confuse it with scary movie series but for my it can the humour and the seriousness about right.

Normally I'd agree but the Hellraiser films were brilliant right up to the last one which was number 9 or 10 I think.

I loved Hellraiser ,the second one was okay...then as usual they got really bad.

but thats what makes this one so intriguing. Its been 10 years since the last film and its a returning cast...which is unheard of...unless you count Indiana Jones 4...but please don't because that was a bit poo.

There are some real gems in the later ones. Same concept but wildly different stories. They re-invented it so many times. The third one isn't popular for some reason, probably because they overdid the original formula by then but they changed drastically after that.

I just bought all the Hellraiser films. Haven't watched pasted the 3rd one but I bet it's cheesy shite 

I'm not against 3D but its a bit overkill at the moment. I suppose 3D works for horror films but the glasses do get a bit tedious after an hour.

I've seen a fair few in 3D.

That is a lot of 3Dness. I don't know if I'd want to see a Saw film in 3D (even though I love the films) what was it like?

Well it was 'made' for 3D so the whole point is to watch it in 3D. It wasn't great, one of the weaker in the series.

It wasn't great (I watched it in plain old 2D) but they went downhill when they killed off Jigsaw anyway. I still can't believe they did that. From the stuff I've seen in 3D I wouldn't want a load of gore coming at me from the screen. I don't see the point of watching footy in 3D either. It's still an infant technology I think it will take off more for games than movies.

Might get it when it gets to DVD. Am also looking forward to the new DVD coming out from Dave Courtney. Forgot the name of it but its sommat with 3 names--- and Dogs is one of em.

I actually thought SAW 6 was one of the best in the series. Nothing can top the 1st one though. That blew my mind when i first watched it in the cinema. The 'twist' at the end actually made me stand up, in the cinema, place my hands on my hips and shout out 'Good Lord! I did not see that coming!'

I was still transfixed by the Saw films till the end but they became really predicable (the opposite of how they began). Rawky have you watched any of Rob Zombie's stuff? He's incapable of doing anything that isn't brilliant.

I'm not a fan of his version of Halloween...actually we've had this convo before...i don't think it ended well... 

Oh yeah, I forgot, you're shit at liking good films 

They farted about too much with michael myers as a kid. The first 15 minutes were quite good but then they waffled on too long.  The rest of the film was almost shot for shot like the original...kinda pointless if you ask me.

I watched 13 ghosts the other night..I  rather liked that. I don't mind gore in a film in context,but when a film is nothing but gore with a shit story then it bores me.

They probably laboured the point a bit but I was never bored. It was like a character study, albeit a study of someone who never existed which I always find strange but film makers do that all the time. It was definitely back to basics towards the end but I enjoyed the build up. Devils Rejects is one of the best films I've ever seen it was obvious to me why they asked him to do it he builds characters. The slasher flick genre is jaded as f*ck any new take on it is welcome for me.

Just got back from watching scream 4 at  pictures enjoyed it, it didn't let the series down at all. Now is a good time to end it though. I didn't pick the killer right either which I am happy about. It also had quite a few laughs. All in all it was worth the £4.50 entrance fee.

We went and watched it on Saturday, didn't leave feeling WOW, but I wasn't disappointed with it either.  It's pretty much what you would expect from a scream movie.

I've never watched any Saw films.  I'm terrified of any scary films but people keep telling me it's not scary just really sick.  Not sure if that was supposed to persuade me!

What's the rating? (15, 18...etc?)

I enjoyed it. A LOT! Really good, and very funny. Karma its an 18 and pirate you disgust me  Stop being a cheapskate and go to the cinema to watch it!! 

lol-im not a cheapskate..well i am..but my OH hates the pics and wont go with me..i took her to see 'drag me to hell' one morning..she said thats exactly what i did

...well y'know...you could go by yourself  Do the whole "Just the one please, i'm on my own you see" but make sure to go for a super early showing so its not full of people that will judge you
