I just love photographs of old industry. There are some beauties here. Note the old computer and telephone on a desk. The big grey equipment cabinets and the large chimney shot between buildings.

The chimney came down in July this year, but the Marina has been there since the '70s.

It's really beautiful when it does that. Sometimes it goes a wee bit wrong, but mostly these days it's pretty precise.

A lot of old flats have been demolished in Sheffield to make way for new modern housing. Every time a block was demolished it attracted crowds of photographers and videographers. I saw a couple on TV and in person. There was a lot of dust - although I believe that they now use water to minimise dust dispersal.
I agree, for a destructive process it can be rather beautiful.
