Fluffs, Velvet,

Just so I know, has the power station now been demolished and a marina put in it's place?

Nope EC. Just me being a dick again.

I know where you're coming from. Tis interesting

The picture you posted Velvet looked very similar to the power station pic, without the power station of course

Demolition of Inverkip chimney.

That was a very controlled demolition, the chimney going straight down into itself. These demolition people are very good at minimising the impact on the surrounding areas.

It's really beautiful when it does that. Sometimes it goes a wee bit wrong, but mostly these days it's pretty precise.

A lot of old flats have been demolished in Sheffield to make way for new modern housing. Every time a block was demolished it attracted crowds of photographers and videographers. I saw a couple on TV and in person. There was a lot of dust - although I believe that they now use water to minimise dust dispersal.

I agree, for a destructive process it can be rather beautiful.
