it's scary sh*t VD. I doubt many have really, really looked into the financial implications of this

Hubby spoke to a (YES supporter) colleague on Friday, who said he doesn't know or care what the financial implications are, as long as Scotland is Independent.

That's sort of the impression I was getting today Yogi

Despite every economist in the western world offering an opinion – baffling really!

Some are sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "lalalalala", and the others are saying that it's scaremongering.

If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny.

it truly is..Mark Carney offered advice and it's been ignored and its classed as being negative. Much like the USA in the 1920's if you can't support your currency you're in deep sh*t  It's fingers in ears and don't want ' cos it's negative' to listen to serious and really serious consequences

Honestly Baz, it's beyond ridiculous.

We were in town today and both YES and NO campaigners were out in force. The YES campaigners can't give definitive answers on currency, the cost of independence, entry into Europe and a dozen other important issues. Their attitude is, just vote YES and it will be alright.

You couldn't make it up!

and Mel Gibson doesn't get off with it either.  They can take our jobs, our currency, our pensions, our future.. but they'll never take our FREEDOM.  Much good it'll do us though.   I seriously think the misguided 'Braveheart' vote will be the crunch factor.

You have a point I guess, I wonder if it's a form of 'brainwashing'?

He appeals to the Braveheart mentality, and sells nationalism as patriotism and national pride. He makes me sick.

Obviously you Scots know him better than us English do, but the little I've seen of him scares me

I detest him, if he isn't stopped he will ruin my country. His ability to rouse the rabble is scary, Sprout.

all for what..to weaken countries and not stick by though good and bad times...he's in for a shocker

I wonder who he'll blame when it all goes t!ts up and he hasn't got the "Westminster Government" to blame. Of course, he'll never admit it's his fault, when he's brought the country to its knees.

Nah, he hasn't got it yet

He has Pam, Cameron is giving more and more to keep them in...it's got to be a clean break if they go, no attachment to sterling where we have to bail them out and I truly hope they succeed , but Salmond doesn't have the answers and it could end in disaster...but I shouldn't be negative, because Mel Gibson is gonna sort it

big business have forewarned him Baz,,,he's sunk it it goes tits up and I hope they have a get out clause..oil dropping at 40% over four years is not going to sustain a Country of free education and prescriptions, without the cost of the set up alone...no thought, just braveheart mentality
