Can you give me some recommendations on truly terrifying horror movies. I'm slightly desensitised to a lot of stuff, so it really needs to be pant wetting.

Indie or mainstream, foreign or english, ANYTHING!

Thank ooo.

Final Destination!

All of them

Same here. The scariest film for me is still The Exorcist. Darn upbrining.

The Exorcist always scared me. Then when I lived in DC I saw the stairs they used to film the end scene when the priest gets thrown down them. They are so non discript, they actually come down on to a petrol station forecourt. Google key bridge on maps, and look just above to the left.

Wolf Creek is the biggest load of rubbish going. Most of it is made up bunkum.

No-body knows what happened to the girls.

true, however these thing do happen in this day and age, and people go missing all the time in the outback, used to be on the news all the time when my husband was growing up there. I just personally thought it was scary, not everyone will though

Well, it was scary enough when I believed it was 100% true, though even then I was annoyed at some of the 'waste of time, hang around waiting to be caught' things that the girls purportedly did. But I was really incenswd at the end to find that all the stuff with the girls (which was the biggest part of the film) was total fiction, when the film purports to be a TRUE story.
