Those phone calls from "a local energy advisor" aren't real people ringing you but are a series of recordings which are done in such a way that you think they are real, In reality, they are just cold callers trying to get you to agree to a survey on your house to panic you into spending lots of money.

Received phone call just now from a woman with an Indian accent. Was asking if I had any unpaid electricity or gas bills. I did a search on the phone number shown and it seems to be a utility scam. It is possible that this scam is aimed at business users not that I have any business tariffs.
