Forerunner of 50 Shades.....

Remember The Thorn Birds?    Shocking!

Looking at that you would never have guessed about Richard Chamberlain

It was a story of three school friends with a secret.

The famous line in all of the trailers was (delivered by Phoebe Cates) 'Which one of you bitches is my mother?'

I found the book much better than the series Sooz.

didn't hold a candle to Peyton Place  Was Lace Shirley Conran?...I get mixed up with her and Barbara Bradford Taylor

I've got the Peyton Place theme tune running in my head now. Imagine ....Ryan O'NEill and Mia Farrow starring in it as Alison and Rodney.

My absolute favourite programme ever though (not Saturday night) St Elsewhere ...............did anyone else love it?

HSB was great but I adored St Elsewhere ......was a bit in love with Boomer. Some great names in it .......very early starring role for Denzil Washington .....Dr Phil.

I didn't watch all of St Elsewhere - but I do remember enjoying it.   I loved Hill Street Blues though - and Ally McBeal.     My favourite American shows at the moment are Greys Anatomy and The Good Wife.

Really?    It's not gripping me as much as other seasons have done really, but I'm stubborn.    I'm wishing Arizona had popped her clogs in the crash tbh, and Meredith's starting to irritate me.

I do enjoy Not Going Out with Lee Mack .......anyone else?

I've only seen wee snippets of Not Going Out - when is it on?    I see bits of Will and Grace in the mornings before work if the telly's on C4 when I get up - I still laugh at Karen.
