I love saturday telly, but I like Merlin and Strictly Come Dancing.

I do have to agree about Sunder and Munder and Waking the Dead though.

I am in a difficult position today with the tellyvisual delights on offer this evening. hubby wants to watch newcastle live on bbc2, kick off 5.30 p.m. which will clash with Merlin. This is the one special programme we sit together as a family to watch. What do I do, go in the dining room with little un to watch without hubby. Or send hubby in there to watch his footy on his tod. I know Merlin is not the be all and end all of llife as we know it, but..... it's just a special family time programme for us.

SCD then MOTD love it, XF I can watch the repeats or catch up on demand.

I've never actually watched Merlin and i believe it's on the 2nd series...I woke up about 5am this morning and flicked the TV on, there was something on about the making of it and it looks good.

If i started watching it now, would I be able to follow it having never watched before?

If only we had a plus anything. We do have a hard drive recoder thing, but since connecting up the sky, and the surround sound we've no plugs for it, so a useless piece of great kit. I blame hubby for that too, he won't go along with a 3 in 1 plug.

We haven't got a plus anything sadly, even sadder we have a hard disk recorder sitting immediately under the telly, hubby won't connect that up, won't go along with a 3 in 1 plug thingummy.

Yes, I think you should be able to pick it up.  It's not like a soap or a 2 part TV drama, each episode stands alone, though the characters are the same (pretty much) week after week.

It's a bit like Doctor Who in that if you miss one week you aren't completely lost the next week.

DD, merlin is lovely to watch, good storylines, brill actors, always a happy ending too.

I might watch it then later, unless his knibbs want to take me out...I can hope eh!
