It's not the prank it's what he wants from the prank that is annoying. He deliberately wants to make her get angry or upset I don't think he even cares what he achieves as long as he get's a reaction.

Sam was celebrated when he made Josie's life hell, but is condemned for stealing Corin's things.  It's the viewers' attitude to Sam which annoys me, probably more than Sam does.

the sooner he is of my tv screen the better, he is an evil little shit, I dont care if Dave is egging him on HE is still doing what he intended from the get go, he has just got dave involved for the hell of it.
