I have just made the most delicious salad. How I have missed them (eating mainly comfort food through the winter).

I roughly chopped up 6 leaves of hearts of Romaine lettuce, grated 3 carrots, sliced 3 beetroots, chopped 2 tomatoes and had the remainder of the tuna/mayo I made for my lunch sandwiches.

I enjoyed it so much I want it for tomorrow's evening meal. Probably a good idea as I have booked a table for 7:30 on Friday for a meal.

I made coleslaw the other day - carrot, cabbage, onion and apple - not quite as exciting. Even so it tastes better than shop bought.

It was Roger.

I have to say I love homemade coleslaw as you can play around with the ingredients. Yours sounds nice as I like your ingredients.

Rocket is my fav for salads too.  And onions and peppers and eggs and most definitely jalepeno's.  Awww I'm hungry.

I've just had the most delicious salad from Subway of all places!

Lettuce, cucumber, red onion, green peppers, jalepenos, tomato, pickles, grated cheese and then I got 2 dips of ranch sauce and honey mustard sauce to test them out and ended up dumping both pots over the whole salad because it was just heavenly!!

I need more.

Ells
