here's the story.... *sniggers*
It’s amazing the difference a knock-back makes. It was only on Saturday that Saffia confessed she might have a soft spot for Kris, and he’s definitely been taking advantage of the attention for the past few days. But yesterday he showed he might be more interested in Dogface. And who wouldn’t, with a name like that?
Saffia is clearly sore from the rebuff, but she was determined not to show that to Lisa and Noirin this morning. And like many a girl who’s been hurt by a bloke, she concentrated on putting her face on.
“I felt sorry for you last night,” said Noirin, as Saffia grappled with her mascara. “There’s been tension, tension, tension.”
“I mean, don’t flirt with me if you’re going to jump into bed with someone else,” seethed Saffia slightly, remembering Kris’ late night antics with Dogface.
“That’s blokes though, innit?” nodded Lisa.
“He came over to me this morning and said, ‘what’s up?’ And I said, 'doing the rounds, are we?' He said, ‘I knew you’d say something like that.’ I said, I don’t want to be awkward as I genuinely like you both. We just need to go back to being friends.” Hang on Saffia, when were you anything more than that anyway?
“He hasn’t done anything, has he?” asked Noirin.
“I don’t know, he was under the covers with Sophie wasn’t he?” said Lisa. “Did you not see it?”
“I didn’t see anything!” said Noirin surprised. “I’m oblivious. Shows how much I care”
“They just had a cuddle,” said Lisa, rolling her eyes.
“Yeah right!” snapped Saffia. “Look, it doesn’t matter. I don’t want this to ruin my time here.”
“If she likes him, she likes him,” said Noirin. “I don’t like him.”
“I did,” confessed Saffia.
“I told him the first day here, you’re a player,” added Noirin.
“Let’s forget about it,” said Lisa, sensing Saffia was feeling a little dented.
“Mmm,” nodded Saffia, replacing her mascara brush in its tube.
Ah well, if you can’t have the slap and tickle, Saffia, at least you can make do with the slap.
