X FACTOR star Rylan Clark has turned into “a stalker” over his obsession with Steps singer Claire Richards.
The 24-year-old has made no secret of the fact he is a huge fan of the cheesy pop band who scored hits with 5678, One For Sorrow and Tragedy.
And, thrilled at being locked in the house with one of the group, the excitable gay singer has stuck to Claire like glue and will not leave her alone.
He sleeps with her, makes her sing Steps songs to him before he goes to sleep and has even been wearing her underwear.
Now, according to Tricia, 42, her pal Claire has had enough because he has turned into a pest.
The actress said: “Rylan is obsessed with Claire. When she is on the bed, he is there too.
“When she is in the kitchen, he follows her. He sleeps in the same bed as her. He put on her bra the other night.
“He is her No1 fan but I told her not to give him her phone number because he will never stop calling.”
Tricia claimed everyone was starting to get worried about Rylan’s obsession with her in the house, and the pair’s friendship is starting to show cracks.
The other night Claire, 35, barked at him to leave her alone, admitted she almost slapped him, called him “a pain in the arse” and told him: “You can’t ever be me.”
Tricia added: “It started off sweet but Claire’s had enough now. She said he’s getting on her nerves.
“He even asks her to sing Steps songs to him before he goes to sleep. He is like having an annoying son around her all the time.
“The other morning he threw paper towels soaked in water at her and got her in the eye.
“She was furious. She is going to lose the plot.
“We kept saying this is going to end in Tragedy like the Steps song.”
