With Diana I think it was more about the dress and occasion than the love.....and yes she does look very Royal in a natural way.....

I still think that one was all about babies and heirs

A perfect princess.....very regal

anyone else sad Lizzie went against Wills request to stay a Prince ? maybe there was no way because of being a commoner Kate could be called Princess Catherine as Wills wanted

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just doesnt sound so good to me

LOL, thought her and Prince Philip looked like their 'spitting image' characters!

Rubber chicken for the wedding breakfast, perhaps...?

Nope. The Queen has given them the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

That panned shot of back up the aisle of the abbey looked wonderful.

I want a transcript of Mr C's comments after this over.

I'd be in the Tower by tea time, and he'd probably escape over the bridge to Welshland knowing my luck!

Mrs. H - I think the Duchess/Princess thing is bogged down in constitutional rules possibly.

I think her title would have been Princess William of Wales....that's a bit of a mouthful as well

They still get the HRH though and then the Duke and Duchess thingy

Her Royal Highness The Princess William Arthur Philip Louis, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, and Baroness Carrickfergus.[60]

According to wiki

I read that as STREATHAM..

Countess of Streatham and Baroness of Catford doesn't quite do it.

Yep, 'cos William is a Royal Duke, not an "ordinary" one.

The problem is that without a "Royal" title of her own, Kate would be "Her Royal Highness Princess William of Wales" - a bit ungainly. Besides, I think it's convention for a Prince to be made a Duke on his wedding.

I'd be worried it would split when I bent down....poor girl mustn't have eaten for a week...it is a lovely dress and she certainly has the height and shape for it

Yes I agree - it's a stunning dress but - I wouldn't have thought it's easy to wear - very limited movement.
