This should be in the 'things you don't want to start a thread about' or one of the 'kit' threads... shouldn' it?..But i don't do those!

But we like baby stories on this forum!

I don't think the baby will be known as Charles or George even if they decide to christen him with either of those names.  There's already a Freddie Windsor so that might be a no-no too.

I'm still reeling at the thought of Price Albert Cos

Aww, despite that , I'd like a Prince Bert.

Or Buck!  Prince Bucklebury - in honour of her home town.

Ahh, Bertie would be good, it's been a while since we had a King Cnut, (careful how you pronounce that!)

The Queen has arrived at Kensington Palace to visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their new son, her great grandson.

It is believed William and Kate will tell Her Majesty their new son's name during her visit

The monarch had said she was "thrilled" at the arrival of her third great-grandson during a reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday evening.

Louise Butt, a guest at the event for the Queen's Award for Enterprise, said the monarch had also described the baby as a "big boy" and had said that "the first born is very special".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have travelled with their new baby to Bucklebury to spend time with Kate's parents after a hectic day of Royal visitors.

The couple, who were driven from Kensington Palace in a black Range Rover, set off shortly after the Queen met her great grandson for the first time.

The as-yet-unnamed baby, who was born at the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital, London, on Monday, also met his uncle, Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess smiled and waved at well-wishers as they set off on the 50-mile trip to Berkshire.

Complaint

We received complaints from some viewers who feel there has been too much coverage of the royal baby story and also from some who feel that the coverage has been biased in favour of the monarchy.

Rexi, I swear some people have far too much time on their hands. As you say, if it bothers them that much, switch over, there's plenty of other channels that aren't showing news footage.

Last week there was an article about people writing in to complain that the weather anchor people were being too upbeat about the glorious sunshine which was unfair to those that don't enjoy the hot weather.

I truly believe there are some people who are only happy when they are miserable and moaning.

I thought there was far to much baby crap on when nothing was happening. . I felt sorry for the reporters standing in front of a door all the while knowing there was a lot of heavy breathing and then pushing going on inside and they'd have to wait for that to finish before they actually had a news story.,.. .I mean how many times can they say she's in labour..  or how many times and ways can they say it's a boy...

Then things like This Morning banging on about all things baby too.. was pretty hard to escape it..

I wouldn't go as far as to complain tho. .  but I did get pissed off a few times when there was no news on the news other than waiting for a baby news..
