I was told that my head was big for the rest of my body when born.
My nephew was the same, I used to say he looked like an orange on a cocktail stick.
While we're here talking bruiser babies, my grandfather weighed in at just over, yes OVER 14lbs.

My jaw dropped to the floor, reading that! Your poor great grandmother.
Yogi, I know, and I can't imagine there was much pain relief available for home births in 1915.

Ready to go home? A member of the royal staff has arrived at St Mary's hospital and has taken a car seat in via a rear entrance alongside Kate's official hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker, dragging a suitcase, raising hopes Kate, William and the baby might be about to leave
Help: A chauffeur holds dresses for the staff member, who was then waved into the hospital by police through the Mary Sandford entrance, which Kate came through on Monday
He looks really hooooge! Look at the size of his hands!

Awwww that was nice, I blubbered when she gave him to William and I'm still blubbering now, can't help thinking that his mum should be there

Kudos to Kate as well for not hiding her post-pregnancy baby bump - it's entirely natural and will disappear in about a week - hopefully more women will follow her example instead of trying to be stick thin again within hours

Diana would have been so proud
