Television personality Rory McGrath has been charged with stalking.
Mr McGrath, 60, of Grantchester Street, Cambridge, is accused of stalking a woman for more than a year.
He appeared before magistrates in Huntingdon earlier and denied the charge.
Court papers state he sent the unnamed woman electronic communications, followed her and approached her. Mr McGrath is next expected to appear in court on 23 January.

If he's stalked as accused his career and more is over.
Sadly, even now some will only remember this allegation and never fully accept he is a good guy.
It's not exactly the greatest "I met a celebrity" story ever, but I once passed a very, hot, sweaty and clearly stressed Rory McGrath in Edinburgh when he was rushing back to his hotel from his Fringe show.
And no: I most definitely did not follow him...

If he is found not to have been a stalker and has nothing to answer in terms of the allegations then I am quite happy to accept his innocence and it will not colour my opinion of him.
However if he is found guilty then he is definitely not a decent bloke or good guy and should take what comes.
Let's see how this pans out.

He's pleaded GUILTY to harassing a woman with whom he had an affair for 5 yrs
As if having an affair wasn't bad enough he stalked the woman in question, harassed via e-mail and sent letters to her husband!!
