He's won the French Open, for the first time in his career, for some reason it had eluded him until now.

In my opinion he is the greatest!

He's become one of the elite few who has won all four grand slam titles! I hope he wins Wimbledon too!

The fact that he is well fit helps too!

did you watch the match ? ... he was incredible ... his shots are so perfectly on its unbelievable .... sometimes he looks like hes not even watching where hes hitting it ...has a great feel for the court ..in my opinion a great candidate for one of the greatest tennis players ever...

Yes Roger has had a massive impact on the game and I DID enjoy watching him thru his winning streak - but it gets boring yes???

He's on his way out now and he's got quite a cast of 'supporting actors' biting his heels.

Very VERY well done to him tho today - I watched it - they need to review their flippin security them French tho... Soderling was a very worthy second

I did watch the match in complete awe. fair play to the other dude for knocking out Nadal, that's some feat, but he was no match for Roger. Imagine it was only a couple of months ago, some lazy sports journalists were writing Federer off!

Nadal and Federer are the Mcenroe and Borg of todays tennis ... borg being the cooler/classier player as Federer is

sometimes i think Nadal is a little over arrogant, but he is young bless him !

I love the fact that at only 27 he's already equaled boring to watch Pete Sampras's championship record, and not even boring Pete has won 4 grand slam titles in the same year.
