I know. I'm pumped. Loved tuning in to the Carnage week in week out!
I'm seated and looking forward to it.
Anyone?
Anyone?
Dara the host
Up to ÂĢ25,000 on a robot !!!
WTF. They could get smashed to bits!!!
Razor is back again.
Good first bout. Big surprise that Razor got taken out.
Carbide!
That blade looks devastating.
More powerful than a sniper bullet at the tip.
Carbide and Behemoth class acts of the bout.
Looks like Carbide sustained some damage to the weapon. Rush on now to get the repairs done before the head to head.
First appearance for Sir Killalot.
Terrorhurtz showed good tactics in dealing with Carbide in the first head to head group stage.
Behemoth v Nuts.
I'll call this one. Team Behemoth to win.
Well it's going to the judges.
Behemoth get it on aggression, right decision.
No axe for Terrorhurtz, it's cost them the bout.
Behemoth is looking good to top the table.
Carbide v Nuts.
Carbide is destroying Nuts.
Took Nuts apart !
OMG ! Carbide have defeated Behemoth.
Damage, aggression and control - Judge's decision.
Terrorhurtz gets it.
Final
Carbide v Behemoth

I said it before Dara.
Carbides blade broke but Behemoth reversed into the pit.
Great first show.
Carbide is one to watch.
Hi EC, sorry I couldn't join you live, was delayed and was watching 20 minutes behind on the iPlayer, but that was a great first show. Bodes well for the rest of the series.

Yes, I enjoyed it, especially getting more stats. Dara is a good host and as one of the judges is from Sheffield I may track him down for a selfie.
But seriously, a great comeback from Carbide and that blade when at full tilt is awesome weapon.
I was also unable to watch "live", but caught up on iPlayer.
It was good to see it back, but I was wondering: what does everyone think about the new "mini-league" system? I'm a little concerned that as the series progresses, teams will get more tactical, and as a result might reign back on the "destruction" aspect of the show. We saw the potential problem of this with Carbide destroying Nuts: there was a concern that Nuts was so badly damaged that their next opponent would have an easy ride. Now as it turned out that wasn't the case, but my concern would be that if Carbide had thought about it, they'd have gone easier on Nuts: i,e, just doing enough to win without wrecking their opponent...
TBH, I don't see it as a great deal different to how it was before - group challenges and one-on-ones.

I'm quite happy to see how it goes. I genuinely thought Behemoth was a standout robot and would progress, especially after Carbides slow start, but personally I like to see them take each other apart. If it does get tactical and less destructive I would hope the producers clock on to it and make changes.
Looking forward to the remainder of the series.
Just catching up on EP.2
1st up
Shockwave v Tough as Nails v Thor v Disconstructor
Great showboating from the final two robots standing!
Round 2
Draven v Foxic v Chimera v Mr Speed Squared
Chimera took a hammer blow from the spinning disc - tyres no good in Robot Wars!
I love the spinning disc robots, they seem to do max damage when the disc is a full revs.
Aw their blade is not working
Aw !
Drove himself into the pit.
