awww this is very sad
i thought he beat it
just read it proper
poor man hope he gets better
Oh dear I thought he was in remission and had beaten it, my thoughts go out to all his family.
The brothers haven't had much luck, health-wise!
So sad....
He was on tv recently .. one was a BBC4 70's / Disco programme? the other was Who Do You think You Are? He came across as a lovely, gentle man. The BeeGees had incredible success... somehow he came out of it as a lovely, and quite humble man. Very likeable xxx
I'm sorry he's so ill now.
Sad news indeed
The Mail has more news about his condition

Thanks for posting this Renton. Very sad news, and particularly bad when you think if he does die soon (which I think is imminent,) he will be the THIRD of the five Gibb children to die at a not-very-old age. Poor Andy of course died of myocarditis, (an inflammation of the heart muscle, caused by a viral infection. (Aged only 30!) And Maurice (Robin's twin brother) died several years ago at age 55. He died following complications resulting from a twisted intestine. And now it looks like Robin may die at 62. How sad.
He has woken from the coma........
He has woken from the coma........
It was reported that his brother and some others were singing to him ,no wonder he woke up but seriously it is good news.
He has woken from the coma........
That's good news Lal
He has woken from the coma........
Fabulous news
Whilst I am pleased for the family, I do wonder whether it is fair for the family to be singing and waking him from his coma. His condition is not compatible with life so maybe it would have been kinder to leave to slip away in his sleep. I understand the family have their needs but it does seem selfish as they are putting themselves before Robin
