I'm not at all surprised, he's a very thoughtful guy. One of my daughters old work colleagues knew him and he couldn't make it to her birthday party.... but he made sure she had a party she would never forget. Very generous man

Politically I like him a lot, think his heart is in the right place but he makes me cringe to look at him. He looks (as my mum would have said) like he needs a good bath!

One point though - with my cynical anti multinationals hat on - as it is so charmingly called Ronald Mcdonald House could they not have got the greedy barstewards at McDs to have paid for the entire thing for all the free advertising and association they get from it

I think they porbably paid for it in to start with but like any of these places it costs a fair bit to maintain and keep staffed and running.

Yeah, fair point Croc but I just really hate McDs and I hate that people will associate them with this sort of thing and think that they are so generous when they might have contributed a small percentage towards it
